My name is Casey Manogue and I am PhD student at UC Davis with a designated emphasis in Writing, Rhetoric, and Composition Studies. The purpose of this blog is to celebrate older composition studies scholarship from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. I aim to explore how older pedagogical and theoretical perspectives might inform present and future writing praxis. Practically speaking, this blog also serves as a 1) reading journal, 2) a site to practice my writing, and 3) an effort to maintain a digital footprint for when I go on the job market.
